I-LEAP program provides students with real-world work experience

Sept. 11, 2019

Students participating in the I-LEAP, or International Leadership, Excellence and Professionalism, program learn real-world English and develop an early career by interning at local businesses. I-LEAP student interns don’t observe but do real-world work. Previous students have designed new local business strategies for Missouri entrepreneurs at an economic development agency, served customers at a hotel, edited videos at a broadcast station, taken care of campus-wide WiFi connectivity at the University of Missouri campus and much more.

Whether you are a student interested in the program, a business person interested in hosting student interns or just a curious person in general, this video will serve your interest.

The I-LEAP program coordinator is Lesley Sapp, and she can be contacted via email at sapplj@missouri.edu.
