myStatus system update: June 2026

The first part of the myStatus update is complete and the system is now available. The user interface has changed — to log in, go to myStatus and follow these instructions:
- Mizzou login users — F-1 and J-1 students, Mizzou faculty and staff
- Enter your Mizzou email address and select “Next” or the key icon. You will be redirected to authenticate through Mizzou’s single sign-on.
- If you receive a 401 error when logging in as a Mizzou user, email mystatus@missouri.edu to request access.
- This is most likely to occur for faculty/staff accessing the system to approve a request.
- Portal login users — J-1 scholars, AAC LEAD Program
- The first time you log in, select “Forgot your password?” and enter your email address. Use the instructions sent via email to create a new password.
- After resetting your password, enter your email address and select “Next” to enter your password and log in.

Information for H-1B employees will be migrated to the new system later this month. Contact your scholar adviser for any document or other requests.
During June, request processing may take longer than the standard five business days. Our staff will prioritize time-sensitive requests. You will be contacted by email when your request is processed.
