Tina Bloom named faculty fellow for International Programs

We are pleased to announce that Tina Bloom, associate professor of nursing, will serve as the new faculty fellow for International Programs for 2019/20. She will devote 8–10 hours per week to specific projects for the division, including strategic planning, international agreements and coordination of international activities across campus.

Bloom’s international experience includes leading a study abroad program in Ghana and conducting research in Thailand, where she has served as a visiting scholar at Boromjonani College of Nursing in Khon Kaen. On campus, she has served on Faculty Council, MU task forces and the UM System Intercampus Faculty Council. Among her many honors, she has received the University of Missouri International Excellence Award (2019), Nursing Network on Violence Against Women International Excellence in Research Award (2013) and Sinclair School of Nursing Student Council’s Outstanding Clinical Teaching Award (2018).
