Updated Aug. 7, 2020, 12:20 p.m.
The University of Missouri continues to closely monitor the COVID-19 pandemic. At this time, the University of Missouri prohibits all non-essential international and domestic travel.
On Thursday, Aug. 6, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Department of State both lifted their top-level global travel warning and health advisory. To obtain COVID-19 health risk assessments and travel information, refer to the following country-specific resources:
- Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
- Department of State
MU students may submit appeals to the Student Travel Abroad Review Committee for essential study abroad or university-related international travel; however, students should expect that approvals will be rare.
We will continue to monitor information from the CDC, World Health Organization, U.S. Department of State, World Aware (AlertTraveler) and other resources.
Additional details are available in our COVID-19 information for study abroad.
