Welcome, Katie and Killion

The International Center is pleased to welcome two new members to its staff.
Katie Alexander serves in a new role at the International Center as the study abroad student engagement assistant. Katie has a master’s degree in global studies and a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Missouri State University. While completing her undergraduate degree, she studied abroad in Salamanca, Spain, and spent one summer volunteering with a nonprofit organization in Honduras. Katie enjoys being outdoors, traveling and spending time with her dog, Mocha.
Killion Hardesty is serving as a new international student adviser. Killion is from Columbia, Mo., and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and communication from the University of Missouri in 2017. He has traveled and worked with people from all around the world and loves learning about new cultures and meeting new people.
