The International Center is pleased welcome Kristen Carranza to its staff. Kristen will be serving as the document specialist for international sponsored students. She graduated from MU in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in English and Spanish, a minor in East Asian studies and a multicultural certificate. She also holds a TEFL certification from CIEE and a Spanish/English translation certification from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Kristen has experience working and studying abroad in Peru, South Korea, China and Mexico. She has also worked for Columbia Public Schools, where she continues to serve as a Spanish language interpreter. Kristen is committed to using her international experience, linguistic background and passion for volunteerism to serve students, faculty and staff at MU, as well as members of the Columbia community.

The center is also pleased to announce that Austin Chevess is now serving as the document specialist for international scholars.
