The Asian Affairs Center helped Mizzou students ring in the Lunar New Year with a festive and enriching celebration! Students gathered to enjoy a variety of cultural experiences, delicious treats and educational insights about this important holiday.

The event featured refreshing boba tea, generously provided by Bubblecup Tea Zone, and savory dumplings prepared by MU Campus Dining — both crowd favorites. Attendees also had the opportunity to engage with educational displays curated by the Mizzou International Student Council, learning more about the traditions, history and significance of the Lunar New Year across different cultures.

Through food, fun and learning, students connected with their peers while embracing the spirit of renewal and prosperity that the Lunar New Year represents. A heartfelt thank you to our partners and participants for making this event a success!
