On Thursday, May 24, the International Center hosted its first Work Authorization Training for Employers workshop. Representatives from several area businesses gained a better understanding of the federal regulations for hiring members of MU’s international community, as well as training on cultural considerations and guidance on helping international employees have a successful and professional work experience in Columbia.

International students and scholars are encouraged to meet with representatives from these businesses at our annual International Welcome Picnic on Tuesday, Aug. 14!
