It can take the University Registrar up to one month after each semester begins to finish reporting enrollment, so your enrollment certification may not be available yet. Sponsors are aware of this timeline.
If you receive a message from your sponsor urgently requesting your enrollment certification and it is not yet available, please let them know and that you will provide a copy as soon as it is. If your sponsor has additional questions or concerns, feel free to direct them to our team. Your must have a local address in myZou to obtain your certification.
From the Registrar’s Certificate of Enrollment & Degree Verification page, select Verify Enrollment. Create an account for University of Missouri-Columbia using your MU email address, log in with your MU username and password, accept the terms and set up multifactor authentication. Once you’ve signed in, download a Current Enrollment Certificate. Additional instructions are available in this myHub guide.
- If you encounter a blank white screen, ensure browser cookies are enabled on your web browser. If the issue persists, clear your cookies, restart your browser and try again.
- Use your MU student email address, not a personal email address, when registering for myHub.
- If the Current Enrollment Certificate won’t download or is inaccurate, try downloading the Advanced Registration Certificate.
- If this still doesn’t work, it may mean your enrollment hasn’t been processed yet. You will need to wait.
Proof of enrollment with reduced course load
If you are not enrolled full-time (refer to enrollment guidelines) and have qualified for a reduced course load, you must submit a sponsor reporting request separately in myStatus. Include the following information in the comment box:
- Verification of enrollment: [name of sponsor]
- Course number(s), course name(s), total number of credit hours
IIE Fulbright students enrolled below full-time do not need a sponsor reporting letter from our office. To confirm your enrollment status, you should upload the following into IIE’s portal along with your enrollment certification:
- IIE Fulbright students who have an approved reduced course load from IIE and MU: copy of Reduced Course Load request.
- IIE Fulbright students enrolled in six hours with an assistantship: a screenshot of International Student and Scholar Services’ assistantship enrollment guidelines.
- IIE Fulbright students in their final semester and enrolled below full-time are not required to provide any additional documentation aside from the enrollment certification.
Academic profile
If you need a document detailing the courses you are enrolled in for the term, follow these instructions to obtain your academic profile, an unofficial transcript pulled from your myZou account:
- In myZou, select Main Menu > Self Service > Student Center.
- Under the Academics section, select Other Academic in the drop-down menu.
- From the options, select Student Academic Profile (toward the bottom), then click the blue arrow.
- Click the Submit button on the next page. This will email the document to your MU email address.
